Machine Operators/ General Labourer -Day & Afternoon shifts

We’re looking for reliable Machine Operators/Labourer to join our busy Lidcombe team. Whether you’re from a construction, production, or manufacturing background, this is your chance to build a long-term career in a stable and growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain steel cutting, bending and shaping machinery

Data entry when operating machines (Use PC to enter number of bars etc)

Ensure accurate cuts and high-quality output

Loading/unloading steel materials and assisting with prefabrication

Conduct regular machine checks and preventative maintenance

Overhead gantry crane experience/ticket advantage

Quality checking steel cuts and bends

Physically capable of manual handling tasks

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions

Good understanding of factory operations

What We’re Looking For:

Reliable, punctual and safety-minded workers

Previous experience in construction, production or manufacturing, or steel

Day Shift- 6am- 3pm

Afternoon Shift- 3pm-12am

Physically robust and comfortable handling heavy materials.

Willing to learn new skills and develop in the steel industry.

Machine operating experience (advantage)

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Solid understanding of OH&S in an industrial setting

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full working rights essential

Must be able to pass D&A- Medical- Police check if required prior to commencing
