About the Role
We're on the lookout for caring, energetic individuals to support young people aged 5–18 in our inclusive and engaging holiday program, located in Geebung. This casual opportunity is perfect for Teacher Aides, Education Support Staff, or students studying Education or Disability Support who want to stay active over the school break or gain hands-on experience with children who have additional needs. As a Youth Program Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in delivering fun, meaningful activities in a safe and supportive setting where every child can thrive.
What You’ll Do
• Support kids in daily activities, including recreation, games, and creative play
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required
• Help prepare meals and keep the space clean and welcoming
• Encourage communication, independence, and social connection
• Create an environment where every child feels safe, seen, and supported
What We’re Looking For
• A warm, positive attitude and a love for working with children
• Experience supporting kids with disability (preferred)
• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• A calm, flexible approach to problem-solving and play
Essential Requirements
• QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Orientation Module Certificate: ‘Quality, Safety & You’
