At Charlie & Franks, we’re redefining the cafe experience by offering the full dining restaurant experience in a relaxed and vibrant cafe environment.

We’re on the lookout for a Cafe Manager to join our passionate, dynamic, and fun team!

This is a full-time role commencing on an hourly basis, with the option to move into a full time salary following a successful trial period of 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafe and execute high volume daily catering orders

Manage and execute restaurant bookings and catering orders

Lead and motivate a team of approximately 5-10 staff

Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining high product and service standards

Train, and develop staff to build a strong team

Foster positive interactions between team members and guests, creating a harmonious and enjoyable workplace

Monitor and improve operations by addressing feedback with urgency and care

Manage weekly reporting, stocktaking, rosters, and cost controls (labour, food, and beverage)

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced: Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume cafe, restaurant or catering environment.

Qualified: Holds a valid RSA and has the right to work in Australia

Passionate: Thrives on delivering exceptional food, service, and experiences

A Natural Leader: Self-driven with a talent for coaching, mentoring, and inspiring teams

Detail-Oriented: Has an eye for quality across all aspects of the business

Adaptable: Able to handle challenges with enthusiasm and a positive attitude

A Great Communicator: Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills essential

Reliable: Access to reliable transport to North Sydney / St Leonards Area
