Currently seeking a dedicated Junior Supervisor to join a leading company working on bulk earthworks, stromwater, pavements, drainage projects.

About the Company

This civil contractor was established over 30 years ago in 1987, starting as a traditional earthmoving company and now evolved into a solutions-driven commercial civil contracting company.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Junior Supervisor to oversee a team in delivering bulk earthworks, pavements, drainage, stormwater projects. As Junior Supervisor, you will lead your team in all aspects of project programming, scheduling, safety, quality control, and client relations. You will be a key liaison between the company, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. There will be progression quickly in this role for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the team to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
• Oversee project programming, planning, and scheduling
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Monitor safety protocols and ensure adherence to WHS guidelines
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders
• Manage and resolve any issues affecting crew morale and project progress

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in earthworks, pavements, stormwater, drainage
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commitment to safety and work standards
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks
