About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrician to join the team at IXA Electrics' in Melbourne, VIC. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients' electrical systems. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance work for residential, commercial, and industrial clients

Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues to identify and resolve problems

Performing install and maintenance on electrical equipment including electrical metering

Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and building codes

Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

Qualifications as a licensed Electrician with a valid electrical trade license

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician in the trades and services industry

Strong knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and equipment

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to safety and following all relevant regulations and procedures
