About the Role

An excellent opportunity awaits a qualified Electrician or apprentices to join the Winki Energy team. Specialising in Utility and Commercial PV, BESS, and EV Charging installations, this role offers a chance to advance your skills in a rapidly growing, sustainability-focused company. Electricians who are eager to upskill in commercial solar and large-scale battery storage (BESS) are encouraged to apply.

Based in Torquay with an additional base in Melbourne, Winki Energy serves clients across Victoria. Our team comprises 13 SAA Accredited Electricians within a dedicated staff of 40, consistently delivering high-quality work for numerous Tier 1 clients. Join our dynamic team and contribute to industry-leading projects in the renewable energy sector. We have some exciting opportunities with upcoming regional work and are looking for a mix of Electricians and apprentices to fill these roles.

Within this role you will:

Work on large scale Tier 1 Solar C&I projects including MW+ PV and MWh Battery Storage projects

Complete a variety of Utility and Commercial electrical work; with a focus on solar and battery installations across the Greater Victoria area

Assist in the leadership and development of a small team

Remain committed and self-motivated with a positive attitude towards all duties

Provide a friendly and professional customer experience

Conduct diagnostic work including fault finding and switchboard work

Ensure all OHS protocols are followed at all times

About You

As our newest team member you will have:

Full Australian Work Rights

VIC electrical license

Understanding of AS/NZS3000 and Service rules a must

Experience in solar installations (preferred)

Construction industry white card

Excellent communication skills

SAA Accreditation (preferred)
