Nelson Bay Tile Co has an exciting position available in our Sales Team at the Taylors Beach Tile Showroom - providing outstanding hands-on sales & service to our clients.

For over 45 years, Tile Co have been supplying tile products to Builders, Tilers and renovators - we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to sales and will provide plenty of on-the-job training & support for the new team member.

This is a full time role, but part-time applicants will be considered.

We believe in healthy Work / Life balance, there will be no Sunday work or public holiday shifts in this role – you will also enjoy an end of year 2 week shutdown through Christmas.

THE ROLE –

Guide clients through their tile selection process from the Taylors Beach showroom.

Working Homeowners, Builders & Renovators.

Providing face to face and over the phone advice and direction to help select the right colour and style of tiles for their projects.

Duties include all aspects of the sale process, including quote follow-ups, receipting payments & completing stock checks.

Maintaining merchandising displays and overall store presentation.

Work-days range from Monday to Friday with alternating half-day Saturday shifts. There is overtime opportunities and some shift flexibility.

THE CANDIDATE -

We are looking for someone with a great attitude who wants to be part of a team, is outgoing and has experience in customer facing roles in retail, trade or hospitality.

You will need to have an eye for colour, fashion trends, interior aesthetics and practical design - along with great communication & interpersonal skills.

A background in selling building industry products or a proven passion for interior design would be a definite advantage in this role.
