The Bendigo Club, a part of Kilmore Racing Club Group, requires an experienced, passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to become part of our growing kitchen team.

We are looking for a Chef who is able to deliver consistent standards with a high level of quality and presentation of food. Our venue includes a bistro style restaurant offering upscale menus and food delivered through full table service. The Bendigo Club holds small and large events and functions throughout the year, a chef that has function experience and knowledge will be well regarded.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills:

A passion for food and the Hospitality industry

Ability to work within a fast-paced setting while delivering consistent high standards

Able to work well within a team and follow direction

Strong attention to detail

A working knowledge of OHS standards, understanding the importance of maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen

This role will suit a Chef who is passionate about food and wants to work within a professional kitchen environment, with a view to training and advancement. The successful candidate will have a Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification and more than two years of experience in a commercial kitchen.

All candidates must be flexible with roster, the ability to work nights and weekends is essential. The position is full time with a starting salary of $75,000 to $77,500, plus superannuation, based on proven experience.
