Hourly Rate: $45.53 – $51.17 per hour (depending on experience and level)

About the Role

Busy Bees at Carrum Downs is seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our centre and inspire excellence in early education. With a licensed capacity of 91 children, you will oversee daily operations, lead and mentor your team, and ensure that our centre provides the very best in quality education, care, and family engagement.

As a Centre Director, you will:

Lead, coach, and support educators to achieve excellence in pedagogy and care

Oversee centre operations including compliance, occupancy, and budgets

Build strong and lasting relationships with families and the local community

Partner with the Educational Leader to maintain high-quality educational programs

Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements (EYLF, NQS, ACECQA)

Drive a positive workplace culture that reflects Busy Bees’ values

What You’ll Need

Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Previous leadership experience in a childcare or early education setting

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Current Working with Children Check (VIC)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
