Company: Has featured in many 'fast growth' lists over the last 10 years and at the same time has diversified their range of commercial lending businesses to include: Equipment Finance, Working capital finance, Insurance premium finance, Inventory finance, and structured asset finance.

They are very much in a high growth phase of their business cycle, which has created opportunities for team member to step up.

Opportunity: Will be focused on the Business loan and Equipment finance part of the business and you will be a senior DLA holder working with their Broker and Sales development teams to approve, condition or decline new business volume.

Role: As a senior DLA holder, you will hold a Credit Risk Approval DLA of up to $1Million. You will be assisting with training and development of junior staff and also assisting Sales channels with escalated matters and deal structuring.

The BAU credit assessment process is grounded in assessment of business bank statements to assess financial health and indicate repayment capacity. The role will also assess Character, Credit, Collateral. Then Condition to mitigate any identified risk factors.

Keep in mind that there is no mortgage security backing these transactions, merely an asset backed guarantor, at best.

This area is an evolving area, as new tools are developed to assist with deal flow. That said; there are always new challenges in commercial lending, which will mean ample opportunity for project work to better develop the lending efficiency and portfolio performance.

Requirements: We will be looking for people who can best demonstrate the following skills and experience:

1. Tertiary qualifications in an accounting related discipline are typically expected for commercial lending roles
2. Prior business lending experience, probably exercising a DLA around $250,000
3. Unfortunately Resi/Commercial real estate lending is not compatible with these types of credit roles, so you may need to highlight your Equipment/Working capital experience in your application?
4. Great communication skills to interact in training and with introducer channels
