About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House team member to join our vibrant team at Banks Cafe' in Port Macquarie, NSW. This is a part-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced and engaging hospitality environment, providing excellent customer service and support to our guests.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner

Taking orders and providing recommendations from our menu

Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any queries or concerns

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area

Assisting the kitchen team as needed to ensure the smooth running of the cafe

Providing exceptional customer service at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure

Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
