Legal Counsel | 3-5 Years PAE | Corporate Legal team

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Counsel with 3-5 years' post-admission experience to join a highly regarded in-house legal team. In this role, you'll provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to support the business' global operations, strategic growth initiatives, and major projects.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Corporate Legal, you'll work across diverse areas including:
Treasury, banking, and finance (including leasing and capital arrangements)
Procurement and supply chain
Strategic partnerships and joint ventures
Asset services and corporate transactions
Group corporate and compliance matters
This is a varied and intellectually stimulating role suited to a commercial lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys seeing their advice drive real business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely, pragmatic and solution-oriented legal advice on corporate, treasury, and procurement matters.
Draft, review and negotiate a range of complex commercial and financial agreements.
Partner with senior executives, including the CFO and Group Corporate teams, to support strategic business initiatives.
Advise on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters (including ASIC and ATO-related issues).
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
Deliver training to business units on legal and commercial risk.
About You
You will be a commercial and practical lawyer with:
3-5 years' PAE (private practice or in-house).
Strong grounding in corporate, commercial, banking or procurement law.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
A collaborative, ethical, and business-minded approach.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
Experience within the resources, infrastructure, or construction industries will be highly regarded.
