Our client is a well-established and fast-growing professional services business with a strong reputation for accuracy, reliability and client service. As business continues to expand they are now seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you take ownership of a range of bookkeeping and accounting functions while supporting and mentoring a small offshore team. You’ll manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, BAS and Superannuation
• Oversee and train offshore bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and consistency of work
• Onboard new clients, including setting up accounting systems and Xero files
• Act as a key point of contact for client queries via phone, email and video meetings
• Review and enhance internal processes and procedures for continual improvement
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant legislation and award requirements

About You
You will be a detail-oriented and technically proficient bookkeeper who enjoys variety and autonomy in your work. With strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, you’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience:

• A proven track record within bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks etc)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll legislation
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational abilities
