Senior Bookkeeper – Xero Superstar Wanted!

Full-time or Part-Time - Salary negotiable around the $85K + super mark depending on experience.

Are you the kind of bookkeeper who lives and breathes Xero? Do you take pride in tidy ledgers, accurate BAS lodgements, and knowing that every number tells a story? If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role you’ll do everything your clients need related to Xero, BAS, payroll, and cash management. You’ll work closely with the accounting leadership team and clients, making sure their numbers are accurate, up to date, and reflect real business performance.

This role also gives you the opportunity to mentor and train junior staff, sharing your bookkeeping know-how and helping them develop best practices for clean, efficient data.

Duties involve;

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in Xero

Processing payroll, preparing BAS, and completing GST reconciliations

Maintaining accurate accounts payable and cashflow records

Using Dext or Hubdoc to streamline data capture and improve accuracy

Collaborating with our accounting team and clients to ensure everything runs smoothly

Mentoring junior team members and promoting great bookkeeping habits

Finding smarter, better ways to get things done

Ideally you will have;

Significant previous experience as a bookkeeper in an accounting firm or bookkeeping practice

Proven expertise with Xero (advanced users encouraged!)

Hands-on experience with Dext or Hubdoc

A strong background in payroll, BAS preparation, and GST reconciliations

A great communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients

A team player who isn’t afraid to ask questions or share ideas

Experience with accounts payable and advanced Xero conversion or reporting is a huge plus!
