Description
- Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including on-boarding and induction programs.
- Step up and lead the team as 2IC when the HR Manager is away.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.
- Coordinate and deliver training and development initiatives for staff.
- Guide performance, conduct, and grievance processes.
- Ensure compliance with workplace laws and internal policies.
- Manage apprentices and trainees in partnership with managers and training providers
- Coordinate visa processing and seasonal workforce programs
- Support well being initiatives and team events
Profile
- Relevant qualifications in human resources or at least 3 years of hands on experience.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience in a high-end hospitality or resort setting is highly regarded.
- Comfortable having tough conversations and managing ER issues
- Personable, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment
- Knowledge of Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Privacy and Training.
- Ready to relocate and embrace the lifestyle.
- Current driver's license.
