People & Culture / HR Advisor

Location: Kensington, WA
Duration: 3-month casual contract
Days: 3 days per week (flexible)
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $55.72 per hour
Start: ASAP

We’re looking for a capable People & Culture / HR Advisor to provide hands-on HR support across a busy and community-focused organisation. This short-term role suits someone confident in day-to-day HR operations who can jump in and keep things running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring the shared HR inbox and responding to general enquiries (including pay and leave)
• Supporting recruitment – posting job ads, shortlisting, and liaising with hiring managers
• Assisting with onboarding, general policy, and compliance processes
• Providing HR systems support and maintaining accurate employee records
• Offering general support across P&C projects and initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a People & Culture / HR Advisor or Coordinator role
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS systems (highly advantageous)
