Totally Workwear Mount Isa is looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team in Mount Isa. Experience in a retail clothing environment (workwear apparel an advantage) and solid understanding of business to business sales is required. A successful applicant must display exceptional customer service skills, can multi task at times in a fast paced work place, eye for detail preparing customers orders, and a fast learner that communicates well with customers & in a team group. This is a full time position and you must be available Monday - Friday and rotational Saturdays.

The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously and within a team environment. They must be task orientated and have exceptional time management skills. This role will be customer facing and supports the manager in the daily operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent service & shop experience for all customers, have a passion for customer service & sales.

Ensure that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and service and respond to customers' inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders maintaining consistent levels of quality service and products.

Plan and prepare work schedules and assign staff to specific duties

Assist the store manager in the daily operations and provide relief when required, include interviewing, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff and resolving grievances.

Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures

Examine returned goods and decide appropriate action

Manage, process and coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory and stocktaking inventory of goods for sale

Assist the manager with ordering required stock

Ensure goods and services are correctly priced and displayed

Ensure safety and security and business policies and procedures are enforced

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in sales particularly in a retail environment (workwear / clothing & PPE safety desirable) or wholesales sectors

Exceptional and proven leadership and management skills

Highly developed organisational skills and abilities to work independently and with a team.

Experience using computer systems and a windows based POS system / relevant office tools

The ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

You will be able to show initiative, have a meticulous and thorough nature, with outstanding customer service skills.

High level interpersonal and oral communication skills regarded.

Have a strong decision making and problem solving skills.

Honest and reliable and positive attitude.
