Store Manager
Your Mission:
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll drive store performance, lead high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence that delivers outstanding results. This role suits experienced retail leaders ready to take full ownership of store success while coaching the next generation of retail talent.
You'll Be Responsible For:
Leading teams to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results
Maximising profitability through strategic sales and expense management
Developing, coaching, and mentoring team members for career growth
Maintaining our renowned company culture and service standards
Driving continuous improvement in all store operations
Assistant Store Manager
Your Mission:
Partner with the Store Manager to ensure seamless daily operations while developing your leadership skills in a supportive, growth-focused environment. Perfect for retail professionals ready to step into management and make their mark in the lighting industry.
You'll Be Responsible For:
Assisting in team leadership and exceptional customer service delivery
Supporting sales maximisation and budget management initiatives
Helping coach and develop team members alongside the Store Manager
Maintaining team culture and contributing to our positive work environment
Embracing our fast-paced retail environment with reliability and enthusiasm
Your Success Toolkit:
Essential Skills:
Minimum 5+ years retail experience with at least 2 years in a management role (Store Manager) or 2+ years retail experience with supervisory responsibilities (Assistant Store Manager)
Proven retail experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Customer service excellence and genuine passion for helping others
Strong coaching and development mindset
Financial awareness and commercial acumen
Ability to lift and move heavy products/boxes
Be comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a retail environment
Experience with POS systems and inventory management software
Visual merchandising and store presentation skills
Knowledge of retail KPIs, sales targets, budgeting etc.
Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa with full work rights
Ability to work weekends and retail hours including public holidays
Bonus Points:
Experience in lighting, electrical, or home improvement retail
