About the role
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you’ll drive financial performance across a diverse hospitality portfolio. You’ll be embedded in operations, partnering closely with venue leaders and senior stakeholders to deliver insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead month-end reporting, variance analysis, and commentary
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers
- Oversee P&L reporting and budgeting processes
- Support a small team and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, and payroll tax
- Collaborate with operational leaders to monitor financial performance and drive efficiencies
About you
You’re a confident and capable finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, service-driven environments. You know how to balance technical expertise with commercial thinking, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting and 5+ years’ experience in a commercial setting
- Strong financial acumen and experience with cloud-based systems (MYOB Acumatica advantageous)
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with a proactive “can do” mindset
- Experience managing junior staff and collaborating across teams
- The ability to prioritise, multitask, and work autonomously in a dynamic environment
