About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assembler Foreman – Team Lead to oversee and support the assembly team in our client's Bendigo workshop. This leadership role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in vehicle assembly, and a passion for team development and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the assembly team to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of repairs

Allocate tasks and monitor progress to meet daily production targets

Provide technical guidance and support to team members

Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety and repair standards

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., parts, paint, panel) to streamline workflow

Maintain accurate records and report on team performance and job status

Assist in training and onboarding new team members

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in automotive assembly or accident repair

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment

Strong understanding of repair processes and safety standards

Excellent communication and team management skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficiency with workshop systems (e.g., iBodyshop) is highly regarded
