You will be given the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of diverse business areas and enable optimal workforce performance through talent management, workforce planning, change management and effective resolution of workforce issues. Your expertise will help ensure we have the right people, with the right capabilities, behaviours and mindsets, to deliver on our strategic goals.

· Strong commercial HR expertise in workforce planning and talent management, aligning people strategies with business goals.

· Demonstrated success in leading transformational change to reshape culture, build capability, and implement effective people plans.

· Deep knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, and contemporary HR frameworks.

· Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to advise credibly at all levels.

· Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.

We believe everyone at the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) is a leader, contributing to our impactful work for the sector and community.
