My client is a top 20 national Chartered Accounting firm who has not stopped at the Australian borders but are growing to reach global scale. They service some of Australia largest middle market and wealth family group businesses with the Sydney office based in the CBD at their newly refurbished and modern office.
This role will be to support the executive leadership ranks, in working closely to manage the overseeing of the operations to the business. They're looking for someone who is fluid in nature, professional, understanding and a natural desire to ensure the simple harmony is present between leadership, valued employees & clients and stakeholders to the business.
They pride themselves in keeping people as paramount importance to the business - a mantra that has ran through the veins of business since it's door opened on day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and professional environment, including facilities coordination, supplier management and meeting support.
Provide proactive administrative and operational assistance to staff and leadership teams, maintaining efficient systems, records and processes.
Have a good fundamental understanding of IT, Accounting and governance of a public practice accounting firm standard.
Oversee budgets and spending for areas such as stationery, catering orders and stock, petty cash and cab charges;
Manage requests for assistance from partners and staff and effective completion by the Administration team;
Event management and manage firm initiatives as required;
Run inductions for new starters and facilitate office moves;
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency in day-to-day operations; and
Support a range of corporate functions including document execution processes, onboarding activities, WHS inductions and general office coordination.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar high-level administrative role.
Must have experience working for an Accounting firm, Financial Planning, or law firm.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanour.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other IT, office management tools plus a fundamental understanding of XERO.
