Clyde Civil is a civil construction business based in Sydney. We work with some of Australia's largest Civil infrastructure companies, delivering quality work and services. Due to our continued growth and ongoing civil projects, we are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Civil Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Civil Engineering degree, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated civil engineering experience in the civil construction sector and will assist with planning, organising and management of civil projects for ongoing projects throughout Sydney and NSW. Must be hardworking, reliable and safety driven, with a proven track record on large scale civil infrastructure projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the scope is delivered within the allotted time and budget

Assist in planning material, resources and systems usage for successful, cost-effective and best-practice project completion, in line with safety, budget and time

Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental considerations

Provide planning, technical advice and support to ensure a successful project delivery

Knowledge of the relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice

Understand contractual agreements, preparing claims and dispute management

Provide planning, technical advice, and support to ensure a successful project delivery

Attend project meetings, preparing progress updates and maintaining clear communication with clients

Keeping track of and reporting weekly and monthly project progression, identifying potential risks and devising strategies for risk mitigation

Cooperate with management and provide daily updates
