The Role:

Due to continued growth, we are searching for a Civil Engineer to join our team — You will play a key role in delivering designs and reports across a variety of projects - working alongside our structural, geotechnical and site engineers to deliver technical activities and designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver design solutions in road, wastewater, stormwater and drainage infrastructure
  
• Review and analyse engineering documentation, providing compliance checks and direction
  
• Liaise between internal teams and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and ensure that client requirements are translated into designs
  
• Conduct inspections and assessments of infrastructure assets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  
• Undertake engineering judgement, interpretation and analysis of data to provide practical and commercial solutions.
  
• Ensure all design work meets Australian Standards local council engineering requirements
  
• Liaise with councils, authorities, developers and clients to achieve optimised designs
  
• Working on Development Engineering projects from Application to Completion stages
  

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have

• 4+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer within Australia in Water Infrastructure
  
• A degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia (CPEng and higher education are highly regarded)
  
• A demonstrated background in delivering detailed design & documentation
  
• Understanding of NSW planning legislation and development processes and familiarity with urban design concepts
  
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Water Standards and codes and local council engineering requirements
  
• C2, C3 or C4 competency levels with a range of comparable projects
