We are a well respected Mechanical Services company that carries out construction, maintenance and repairs to water and wastewater infrastructure, primarily to municipal authorities. Located in Loganholme on Brisbane's southside Rokk Industries is a diverse organisation with the opportunity for great job satisfaction and growth within our team.

We are seeking a full time qualified Mechanical Fitter to lead a small team as a Maintenance Leading Hand/Coordinator.

Your Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for completing various preventative/corrective maintenance works, repairs and small installation jobs ensuring OH&S procedures are adhere too, every task is completed to the highest possible standard and completed on time and on budget.

This is a hands-on role with the successful applicant responsible for organising, executing and closing out jobs.

The successful candidate

Must be trade qualified with a Cert. 3 in Engineering- Mechanical Fitter Machinist

Preferably have previous knowledge of the water and wastewater industry

Must be ambitious and self motivated with the drive for success to pursue goals, develop themselves and the team around them and have the eagerness and ability to lead a small team.

Shall have excellent communication skills, be technology literate, able to interpret technical drawings and profound with the use of MS word and Excel.

Posses excellent mechanical problem solving/fault finding skills

Be reliable and enthusiastic with good work ethics and an excellent safety culture.

MR license

First aid and CPR

Forklift license

Rigger/dogman ticket

Restricted electrical license

The role will be a permanent position and will be subject to a 6 month probationary period
