HYDRAULIC HOSE TECHNICIAN / Mechanical Fitters; Workshop & Mobile positions available, Immediate start for suitably qualified applicant.

If your background is a; Experienced Hydraulic Hose Tech with a strong mechanical background and sound knowledge of Heavy Earthmoving & Construction equipment, or a Heavy Earthmoving Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Tech with sound knowledge of the Hydraulic Systems and the Hose & Fittings industry.

We are looking for someone with following:

Have a natural Mechanical ability with good knowledge of Mechanical Hydraulic Systems; Heavy Vehicle Transport; Construction Machinery and Fixed Quarrying Equipment.

Must be able to undertake manual handling duties, including physical lifting.

Conduct testing of Mechanical systems; Hydraulic control systems;

Inspect Test & Analyse the condition of Hydraulic systems, Pipes, Hose assemblies and Mechanical components.

Manufacture and Installation of Hydraulic Pipe & Hose assemblies including the install of Hydraulic components, Mechanical assemblies & associated components to support mechanical engineering systems and technology.

You Must;

Have: (not less than 12 months experience of the above).

Have good communication skills - at least Intermediate level fluency in English (Read/Write and Speak).

Reside permanently within the Gold Coast region or willing to relocate immediately for the position.

Must have Australian residency or the Unrestricted right to work in Australia.

Have a current clean manual car licence as a minimum requirement, and be prepared to provide licence history printout if required.

Have a reliable means of transport to and from work.

Be prepared to work After hours and share After Hour Call Outs with your fellow Hose Technicians when required.

Working week: Monday to Friday (40 Hours)

Parker Hydraulic Hose, fittings & associated product knowledge a defiant advantage.

Tafe accredited Parker Enzed training: provided after qualifying period, if required.

On-going in house training and continued support.

Late Model light truck - fully equipped Service Vehicle is provided for you to operate in the course of your work requirements.

Opportunity of Sub-contract rate or performance bonus after qualifying period.

Remuneration: Based on Experience.

Generous market competitive Base Salary: $ 80,000- $110,000 Plus Overtime & After-hours Call outs, (reviewed at 3 months and 6 months, then annually), Government Super Guarantee.
