The role

Join Expert Care Services' team of dedicated Disability Support Workers in Penrith, NSW. In this casual role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with disability to live their best life. With a focus on providing high-quality, person-centred care, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Supporting clients to participate in community activities and access services

Encouraging and empowering clients to develop new skills and make choices about their care

Maintaining detailed client records and reporting on progress

Collaborating with allied health professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care

Advocating for clients and promoting their rights and wellbeing

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field

Experience providing person-centred support to individuals with disability

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
