About the role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks, as well as installing various caravan accessories and upgrades. Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

Execute the daily work as per the advice of the service manager

Brake, bearing and underbody service on caravans

Diagnose faults & carry out repairs as required

Install parts and accessories

Remove, repair, rebuild, or replace items, including cabinetry and paneling, as necessary.

Perform exterior repairs including framework, cladding and aluminum fabrication.

Install, diagnose, and repair 12v electrical systems and components.

Examine and test operation of parts or systems that have been repaired or installed to ensure completeness of repairs

Caravan pre delivery checks on new vans prior to hand over to customers.

Skills and Attributes Required

A trade background or previous caravan repair experience would be preferred.

12v experience desirable

High attention to detail and taking pride in work being undertaken.

Excellent time management skills with ability to manage jobs with sometimes conflicting deadlines.

Troubleshooting ability to determine causes of operating errors and come up with solutions.

Positive attitude, self-confidence & genuine willingness to learn

Commitment to safety in the workplace

Reliable, honest & punctual.

Ability to work individually and within a team

Able to take direction and work to deadlines

Experience and competence using hand, air, and power tools of all types

Current drivers license

Hours and Remuneration

This is a Full-time position with normal hours being Mon -Fri, 38-hour week with possible overtime as required. No weekend work is required.

A competitive salary will be negotiated based on experience
