The Role:

Transport Refrigeration Services (TRS) is seeking a Service Technician to join our St Peters team. Most days are based at the branch, working with a small team on servicing, repairs, and the occasional installation of OED refrigeration systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to TRS standards, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and providing high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic checks, repairs, and routine maintenance on OED refrigeration systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with refrigeration systems efficiently.

Ensure all work meets TRS standards and customer expectations.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.

Follow all health and safety protocols at all times.

Keep accurate records of all service, repair, and maintenance work.

Assist with occasional system installations as required.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a Service Technician with a positive attitude, technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering excellent service. Previous experience with OED refrigeration systems is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has mechanical or refrigeration experience. A willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in refrigeration, air-conditioning, or automotive industries (experience with OED systems highly regarded).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry compliance requirements.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills with team members and customers.

A valid driver’s license (preferred).
