About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join and established and high achieving team. This is a pivotal role within the pre-construction function, where you’ll prepare accurate, competitive tenders for workplace fitout and commercial projects. You will work closely with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proposals reflect both technical and commercial success.

You will report into an Estimating Manager who is a veteran in NSW, work alongside 4 estimators and be supported by a cadet.

Salary will depend on experience however figures between 130K – 170K can be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and pricing for commercial workplace projects
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules accurately
• Engage suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing inputs
• Conduct risk analysis and incorporate contingencies into estimates
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify value engineering opportunities
• Prepare bid documentation and ensure timely submission

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an estimator in commercial construction, preferably in workplace fitouts and commercial refurbishments
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and prepare accurate costings using cubic or similar
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously
• Commercially astute, proactive, and a strong team player
