In the role of Project Manager (Linemarking), you will project manage the delivery of assigned civil infrastructure activities, such as construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, and preconstruction projects.
You will undertake estimating, tendering & bid management activities and provide operational management of civil construction works for roads and structures. Manage assigned road infrastructure projects through delivery of contracts for internal and external customers and ensure that all quality, environment, safety, traffic, procurement, and other operational system procedures are followed during delivery of assigned projects.
Some of your accountabilities include:
• Use technical knowledge to plan and co-ordinate all resources and works necessary.
• Maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, allocate, supervise, and coordinate work activities of team members within assigned projects.
• Contribute to the preparation of tenders and estimates.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
Desirable requirements:
• A Diploma in Project Management and accredited Frontline Management qualification is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in the road construction or maintenance industry
