Are you a hands-on Project Manager who thrives on delivering exceptional construction and infrastructure projects?
Our client is a long-standing professional services and project management firm, known for delivering complex builds in sectors including education, health, commercial, retail, and public buildings. With an exceptional reputation across ANZ and an increasing portfolio of works in Brisbane, they are seeking a polished and experienced Project Manager to join the team and manage projects autonomously.
About the Role
You will be the client-facing lead for project delivery, responsible for guiding projects from early design and planning through procurement, construction, handover, and post-construction review. Reporting to senior leadership, you will collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and end users to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of projects in the education, commercial, retail, and/or health sectors, ensuring all stages, from concept and design to handover, are managed effectively. Project value ranges from $1- $250M.
- Act as the main liaison between the client and all project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, governing authorities).
- Develop, monitor, and manage project programs/schedules; track progress and adapt proactively to keep on track.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, risk identification and mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide hands-on problem-solving: anticipate issues, interface with site teams, make decisions in the field, and ensure high-quality builds.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record (at least 4-6 years) in Project / Construction Management (client side)
- Solid budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and risk management experience.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Polished personality and construction knowledge
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, able to make decisions on the ground while maintaining oversight.
