About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented professional to support the delivery of library and learning support services. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both traditional library responsibilities and engaging directly with students and staff to foster academic skills, research capabilities, and digital fluency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide frontline library and information services, including reference and research assistance

Deliver tailored academic skills workshops, tutorials, and one-on-one learning support

Collaborate with academic staff to embed information literacy and learning resources into the curriculum

Assist in managing library collections, digital resources, and cataloguing tasks

Support students with the use of learning technologies and academic referencing tools

Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning support services through feedback and innovation

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Science, Education, or a related field

ALIA Accredited

Experience working in an academic or educational setting (desirable)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a student-focused approach

A good working knowledge of digital library systems and academic research tools

A collaborative mindset and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality service delivery
