Relief and Recovery Development Officer

Full-time contract role until June 2026.
In this role, you’ll:
Support the coordination of allocated resources relating to Council’s emergency management activities, including:
the development and maintenance of emergency plans;
preparedness arrangements;
emergency response and recovery capability; and
community education and awareness.
What we’re looking for:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to develop and deliver presentations, write reports, and build productive working relationships.
Exceptional digital literacy and written and interpersonal skills.
Skills and experience in meeting all statutory obligations and compliance standards, including risk management and OH&S requirements.
Skills and experience in strategic emergency management and securing grants and other funding.
