The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading national Public Law team in Brisbane.

In this role, you'll act for key government clients across a broad range of public law matters, including:

Administrative decision-making

Freedom of Information (FOI) and privacy

Merits review and judicial review proceedings

Litigation before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts

You'll work alongside respected public law practitioners on complex, high-profile matters that influence government decision-making and policy.

Experience advising or representing Home Affairs or the NDIA will be highly regarded.

About You

You'll bring between 1-8 years' experience from a respected government litigation practice or in-house government legal team, ideally with exposure to Home Affairs or NDIA matters.

You will have:

Solid experience in public and administrative law

Strong technical, advocacy, and litigation skills

The ability to manage client relationships with professionalism

A collaborative approach and interest in mentoring junior colleagues
