About the position

This position will provide a junior lawyer who is admitted as a solicitor, with significant, varied, and challenging legal experience to get you on your way in your chosen profession.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year post-admission experience.

The position will provide the mentoring and direction your experience requires from the Solicitor Director, Senior Associates, Special Counsel and Associates. You will work on your own files under relevant supervision and have direct contact with the clients you are working for.

The successful candidate

You will work across a range of practice areas primarily focused on commercial litigation, dispute resolution and employment law with matters across all state courts, federal courts, tribunals and commissions.

The right candidate will be motivated to learn and achieve and have excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills, as the busy nature of the position mandates. You may have general practice experience and be well-regarded.

Litigation or dispute resolution experience is highly preferred for this role.

While prior experience is highly desirable, candidates who have talents in the above areas will be considered.

Salary is commensurate with experience. We will offer a rewarding remuneration package to the appropriate candidate commensurate with experience.
