The Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Building Surveyor / Building Regulations Consultant to join our team. Duties

• Manage building permit applications and prepare necessary documentation (BP, CFI, OP, ESM MD)
• Undertake site inspections and coordinate compliance reporting
• Support senior surveyors with regulatory advice and certification tasks
• Prepare and coordinate documentation for statutory approvals
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on compliance matters
• Contribute to process improvements and team collaboration

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a private sector building surveying role
• Experience managing Class 2–9 projects, with knowledge of BCA/NCC and relevant legislation
• Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying (minimum Advanced Diploma)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities
• High level of integrity and commitment to professional ethics
• Motivated to grow within the industry and take on greater responsibilities
