This role is central to advancing the Organisation's commitment to effective Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) and business planning. You'll work closely with the Coordinator to develop, implement, and maintain essential corporate documents and systems that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level assistance in preparing and producing key IP&R documents, including the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, and annual Operational Plan

Coordinate and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the progress of the adopted IP&R plans and performance measures

Be the lead system administrator, trainer, and support for a best-practice IP&R software system, ensuring cross-organisational commitment and use

Coordinate the development and enhancement of the business planning template and process for all Managers, ensuring alignment with corporate performance standards

Initiate, facilitate, and supervise corporate project teams, driving cross-functional initiatives and special projects

Provide advice, expertise, and support to staff on organisational planning, projects, programs, and policies, continually assessing best practice and community needs relative to IP&R processes.

Key Requirements:

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in corporate or integrated planning.

A relevant Degree or equivalent solid working experience and training in a similar capacity

Demonstrated experience in corporate or integrated planning, reporting, and performance measurement

Highly developed computer skills with the capacity to administer, train, and support users in a corporate software system

High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective working relationships across a large and diverse organisation

Demonstrated experience in the creation and delivery of key corporate documents

Highly developed organisation and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet challenging deadlines

Desirable Attributes:

Experience with the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting framework is highly regarded

Broad local government experience

Experience in business planning within a large organisation

A valid Class C drivers licence
