We are partnering with one of our Global Client to hire Software Architect to supports the delivery of Autonomy products by working closely with Product and Delivery teams to oversee and support thedelivery of solutions according to solution designs.

The Software Architect will embedthemselves into software development team activities to ensure designs are understood andcan be followed, otherwise providing an escalation path to Solution Architects for re-alignment.

Responsibilities

• Reference solution architecture designs and product standards in the creation of detaileddesign work packages for development execution.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, development teams, verification teams, and otherSoftware Architects to ensure detailed designs are produced in line with the solution designand meet defined quality standards.
• Contribute to the development of interfaces to ensure seamless integration of work packages.
• Provide governance of the delivery of solutions to ensure that the work is completed in linewith designs and meet defined quality standards.
• Ensure safety and security are incorporated in the detailed design phase.
• Establish software patterns and standards to improve software quality and promote reuse.

Skills

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of experience in software architecture or similar roles
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Experienced with architecture principals and design patterns.
• Ability to solve complex problems by collaborating with other experts.
• Intermediate competency with technologies to be used within their remit (eg. Linux, Robotics,C++, C# ASP.NET, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of control theory, functional safety, safety in design, and security in design,are highly desirable
