We are working with a rapidly growing Sydney based company who are scaling their security function to match rapid growth and increasing production demands. This is a hands on opportunity for an AWS focused Senior Security Engineer who thrives in dynamic product focused environment and wants to shape the future of cloud security.

This isn’t a DevOps role with a security twist, it’s a security first engineering position for someone who’s passionate about protecting infrastructure and applications at scale across the whole SDLC. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the evolution of internal tooling and governance frameworks.

Key skills:

Strong experience with AWS security tools (GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Shield etc)

Understanding of vulnerability management tooling & SIEM

Experience designing and implementing IAM solutions with AWS

Maintenance of security policies and standards for audits & compliance

Skilled with both Terraform & CloudFormation for IaC

Infrastructure background with Linux experience

Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
