We're partnering with a fast-growing tech company in the financial services industry, and they're looking for a highly technical Senior Security Engineer to join their team in Sydney (possibly Melbourne). Salary wise we are talking circa $200K + Super + Bonus.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, functional lead (no direct reports) who thrives in secure operations environments and can communicate with clarity and confidence.

What we are looking for:

· Deep experience in log ingestion & threat hunting
· Strong skills in Sentinel + KQL (or transferable skills in Splunk, ELK etc)
· Solid understanding of cloud risk in scaling tech environments
· Python is a must — bonus if you've built SOAR playbooks
· Comfortable in DevOps environments (GitHub, CI/CD)
· Desirable: Exposure to red/purple teaming
