About the Role
As a Client Liaison Officer at Empower Living, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients, support workers, and stakeholders. This dynamic position involves both office work and field visits, requiring a balance of administrative skills and hands-on engagement with clients and support workers.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct client assessments and develop personalized support plans
Manage and support a team of support workers
Coordinate with stakeholders, including other organizations and support coordinators
Monitor client progress and prepare regular reports
Ensure compliance with NDIS policies and regulations
Facilitate team meetings and provide supervision to support workers
Engage in community outreach and relationship building

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred)
Proven experience in intake, assessment, and case management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in relevant software and reporting systems
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field work
A valid WWVP card
A Police Check no older than 6 months

A Day in the Life
No two days are the same as a Client Liaison Officer. You might start your morning visiting client homes, followed by a team meeting to discuss progress reports. Midday could involve a Zoom call with stakeholders, while the afternoon might be spent conducting a client assessment or providing emergency supervision to a support worker. Throughout the day, you'll be building relationships, problem-solving on the fly, and making a real difference in people's lives.
