Administration Practice Coordinator – Leading Gold Coast Accounting Firm
$75K - $85K + super
Full Time – Flexi Start and Finish Hours
Join a respected and modern accounting firm as the 2IC to the Practice Manager where your organisational skills and initiative will truly make a difference.
Working closely with the Practice Manager and broader administration team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring operations run seamlessly and client service remains exceptional. This is a highly professional and RESPECTFUL environment.
Dynamic and varied role involving;
Providing high-level support to the Practice Manager, assisting with scheduling, workflow management, reports, and firm-wide initiatives.
Coordinating and stepping into admin support roles as needed such as client onboarding, ATO lodgements, CRM updates, covering reception and internal file management.
Assisting with accounts administration (billing, payments, debtor follow-ups) and general operational tasks.
Triage incoming work, assess priorities, and ensure admin and accounting teams stay aligned and on schedule.
Communicating effectively across departments to ensure a proactive, well-organised workflow.
Working on MYOB Practice Manager and Xero / AI enabled automation (BGL, ASIC, FYI Workflow)
About You
You thrive in a fast-paced professional services environment and enjoy taking ownership of making things run smoothly.
You have previous accounting firm administration experience as a client services officer/ team support coordinator or practice manager.
Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication skills – professional, confident, and client-focused.
A proactive, hands-on approach and flexibility to assist where needed.
Sound problem-solving ability and initiative in triaging and allocating work.
Solid technology skills, including Microsoft Office and accounting practice management systems (experience with workflow automation or AI tools a plus).

Note:
Some duties such as reception, ato liaison etc... will only occasionally need to be covered, as with other duties if team members area away on leave or unwell. When the admin team is fully on board, you'll work with the practice manager on other projects important to the firm such as monthly reports on work flow and tracking how the accountants are going with their targets.
