You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
• Demonstrate a competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill relevant to Molecular Genetics.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake technical tasks of increasing complexity with the level of supervision decreasing and accountability increasing.
• Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team to produce an effective work
• Output in terms of quality and quantity.
• Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- The successful applicant must at least hold an Associate Diploma (generally graduating prior to the year 2000) or a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) (Year 2000 onwards), tertiary, or equivalent formal qualification(s) in a relevant discipline.
- Following consultation with relevant unions, an employee may be required to participate in new or varied roster arrangements including shift work, on-call and weekend rosters.
- Please detail any visa conditions you may have if you are not a permanent resident of Australia.
