Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated high level knowledge and clinical skills as recognised by clinical experience, professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to apply high-level scientific judgement to perform, interpret and report laboratory analyses in a molecular genetics laboratory.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member, to produce an effective work output in terms of quality and quantity, and to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated contributions to the quality of clinical practice within a molecular laboratory, through compliance with organisational policies and procedures and maintenance of relevant legislative, administrative, and professional standards, including NATA / ISO / TGA accreditation / certification requirements.
