Showroom Sales Consultant

Floorworld is a well-established flooring store who are known for quality, customer service and value. We have recently expanded our offering to include tiles.

In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an exceptional experience to our customers.

Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will assist with the daily operation of the Retail Showroom, assisting customers with their selection of tiles.

Key Responsibilities

· Providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to our customers

· Assisting customers in selecting the perfect tiles to suit their needs and style

· Preparation of quotes and sales orders

· Handling sales transactions

· Plan take offs

· Maintaining a clean and organised showroom to create a welcoming environment

· Undertaking additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store

You

To be successful in the role you will have the following knowledge, skills and attributes

· Prior experience in a retail showroom

· Minimum 1-2 years of retail showroom experience required

· Strong work ethic – punctual and reliable

· Eye for detail

· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers

· Positive attitude

· Excellent product knowledge or a keen interest in tiles

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Experience in or willingness to learn selling other relatable flooring products

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Some Saturday work required

· Availability to work monthly Saturday rotation
