The Finance Officer at Hands on People Pvt Ltd is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in managing and overseeing financial operations of the business. The Finance Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's financial integrity and enhancing service efficiency through precise financial documentation and timely follow-ups.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

Handle supplier invoices and assist with executing payment runs.

Create and issue customer invoices, reconcile payments, and chase up overdue receivables.

Perform reconciliations for several bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies.

Support payroll processing and track employee leave.

Accurately record and classify transactions in the general ledger

Help maintain financial records and contribute to month‑end closing procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent certifications).
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or another relevant business qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting/financial admin — all applicants with drive and aptitude will be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with NetSuite and/or Xero is a strong plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
• A proactive, can‑do attitude with a genuine desire to learn new skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Current unrestricted driver’s license
• Valid NDIS Card
• Valid Blue Card
