Seeking a Business Architect to join one of Australia’s leading banks at a pivotal time of regulatory change. This is a senior opportunity to shape how the organisation translates APRA CPS900 requirements into practical, scalable business and architecture solutions that drive resilience, compliance, and long-term strategic value.
The Role As Senior Manager, Business Architecture – Product Governance, you will lead the design and enablement of CPS900-aligned business architecture. Partnering with executives and senior stakeholders across risk, compliance, technology, and operations, you will ensure the bank maintains robust, compliant, and strategically aligned operating models.
Key focus areas include:

• Translating CPS900 regulatory requirements into actionable architecture artefacts, frameworks, and use cases.
• Designing and optimising modelling tools (e.g., Holocentric) to support compliance and strategic needs.
• Providing governance oversight of architecture deliverables and alignment to CPS900.
• Driving adoption of business architecture standards across divisions to strengthen operational resilience.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong background in business architecture, including frameworks, policies, and modelling standards.
• Expertise in banking regulatory programs such as CPS 230 will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience in use case design, scenario modelling, and stakeholder engagement across risk, compliance, and delivery teams.
• Familiarity with architecture tooling and governance practices to support regulatory and strategic needs.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders (Head-of, GM, Steering Committees).

This willl commence as a 12 month day rate contract role paying circa $1200 + super / day and will start ASAP.
