We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in the lives of older people and their families. Amaroo is seeking a dedicated and organised Volunteer Coordinator to join our team part-time (0.6 FTE).
You’ll lead the growth of a vibrant volunteer program that connects people, celebrates contributions, and strengthens our community; while making sure all volunteers are supported and meet the standards required under the Aged Care Act.

About the Role
Oversee our volunteer program from recruiting & onboarding through to recognition.
Ensure volunteers meet legislated requirements (training, vaccinations, police clearances).
Build meaningful relationships with our active volunteers; support, motivate, and retain them.
Maintain accurate records and reports for compliance & strategic oversight.
Be a key ambassador for Amaroo’s values.
You’ll be successful if you have:
Experience managing or coordinating volunteers (or similar) in community, aged care, health or non-profit sector.
Understanding compliance frameworks: police checks, vaccinations, mandatory training.
Excellent organisational skills—tracking systems, record keeping, ensuring deadlines are met.
Great communication skills: able to engage, inspire, support and lead volunteers.
A values-fit: someone who holds accountability, integrity, community impact close.

You will Need:
A National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months – or willing to get one)
Australian Work Rights and willingness to take a flu vaccination.
