As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an Front End Developer to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day functions of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Front End Development
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Implement responsive design and accessibility standards.
Integrate front end components with REST APIs.
Apply secure coding standards (RBAC, encryption, audit trails, compliance logging)
Back End Development
Experience in developing in JAVA.
Experience with API development and integration
Implement simple queries and migrations.
Database & Data Models
Understand entity-relationship database schemas.
Write and troubleshoot basic SQL queries.
Work with migration scripts and mappings.
Design and modify SQL based reports
Quality & Testing
Write and run unit tests (Jmeter).
Use Postman for API verification.
Participate in regression/UAT test cycles.
Agile Ways of Working
Work on Jira tickets; maintain clear updates and progress tracking.
Document work in Confluence (or SharePoint).
Collaboration with Customer Support Teams
Collaborate with Operations & Call Center Teams: Engage in daily or regular meetings with the operations and call center teams to understand technical issues affecting customers and provide development support when necessary.
Assist in Technical Issue Resolution: Provide technical guidance or troubleshooting to customer-facing teams (call center, support), helping them resolve issues that impact customer experience.
System Feedback & Improvement: Work with support teams to gather customer feedback about the web application and prioritize improvements based on common pain points or technical issues reported by users.
Customer Escalation Support: On occasion, assist in resolving escalated customer support tickets related to technical issues, offering solutions or escalating to the right technical teams.
Product Knowledge Sharing: Share insights with customer support teams about product features and updates to ensure they have the information they need to support end users effectively.
General Skills
2+ years experience
Understanding of version control (e.g. Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
